Looking for a roommate in Brooklyn, Queens - New York

Jeffrey T - $900/month

About Me

Hi! I’m interested in joining a roommate situation in Queens. I’m a graduate student currently working two jobs, as a server and a part-time tutor, and planning to move out ASAP. Ideally, we’d be on the same page about keeping a clean, peaceful, and productive home.

About Me:
• Grad student (Bio major) at Queens College
• Friendly, respectful, emotionally mature, open
• Clean, organized, and mindful of shared spaces
• Focused on academics and personal growth, but love to joke and unwind

Looking For:
• Students (grad preferred) or young professionals
• Clean, responsible, and communicative
• Financially stable (able to contribute to rent + bills consistently)
• Working toward something (school, career, etc.)
• Chill personality – someone I can vibe with, but who also values personal space
• Open-minded, considerate, and good energy

Ideal Apartment Situation:
• 2–3 bedroom in Queens (ideally near Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Rego Park, or Jamaica)
• Access to public transit (E/F/R/M lines ideal, but open to other options)
• Budget: $800–$950
• Washer/dryer on site (or nearby laundromat)
• Pet-friendly (I currently do not have a pet)
• New lease with everyone on the agreement

Timeline:
• Hoping to move out between July–August, but open to sooner if the fit is right

If you think we’d be a good match or know someone who might be, shoot me a message! I’m also putting together a quick Google Form to help us see if we’re compatible. Looking forward to connecting!

My maximum monthly budget 900
Move in Date Aug 2025
