Tongue cancer left me with a speech impairment, most people say they can understand me, some have to ask me to repeat, which is fine. I'll be working with a speech therapist soon to see if it can be improved. Cancer treatment is all completed. I have to use my blender to puree all of my food and that is my only special need. Most of my cooking is done in the microwave. I wear a face mask because I don't like the way I look when speaking.
