Hi everyone! I’m looking for a roommate (women only) to start a new lease with me in my current apartment in Matthews, NC. Rent is $660 a month plus shared utilities, and the room is unfurnished with a shared bathroom, though I’m open to getting a two-bedroom, two-bath in the same complex. I understand how it’s not ideal sharing a bathroom. The current lease runs until November 14, 2025, and my roommate is moving to a place with more space for her dog. The apartment is in a great location!! About 20 minutes from Charlotte, close to Target, Marshalls, Harris Teeter, Crunch Fitness, Planet Fitness, and more, in a safe and really clean community. I’m 25, originally from Ohio but living in NC for over 10 years, and I work 12-hour shifts in healthcare, so I’m gone most of the day when working. I would say I’m friendly and love to socialize. I enjoy books, movies, being active, and spending time outdoors! I do my part at keeping shared spaces clean and I respect boundaries, and really appreciate open communication. I keep to myself most of the time even though I like to socialize, I spend a lot of time in my room.(especially if I worked that day lol) I rarely have guests over but when I do it’s usually 2-3 friends and we’re watching tv in my room.
